Laparoscopy

Diagnostic Laparoscopy for Infertility is a common surgical procedure used to view and examine organs inside the abdomen and pelvis without making large incisions in the skin. Laparoscopy operation is also referred to as keyhole surgery or minimally invasive surgery, and it involves small incisions, leading to fewer side effects, lower risks, and a shorter recovery time.

The laparoscopy surgery for infertility is usually recommended when other fertility tests are unable to make a diagnosis. It is often performed on women with unexplained infertility.

Laparoscopy Operation can also be used to biopsy growths and cysts that may be affecting fertility, as well as to treat pelvic pain related to endometriosis. Scar tissue can also be removed during laparoscopy operation, which can help alleviate pelvic and abdominal pain.

If you are struggling with infertility, Diagnostic laparoscopy may be able to provide answers and solutions that other tests cannot. Talk to our healthcare provider at Orchid IVF to see if laparoscopy surgery is the right option for you.
